So last Friday I ventured out to an event called "Clay-Doh" at the Steel Yard in Providence, RI (http://www.thesteelyard.org/).I figured it was something different to do and looked fun. I went thinking I was going to enjoy a drink and some clay, but I left with so much more. After sitting at a wheel and feeling the clay in my hands, I was drawn to it and realized that it was something I would love to pursue. Its not that I was a natural or that I created anything that even stayed together for more than 10 minutes, but once you learn the art of centering the clay, it seems the possibilities are endless.
So, now starts my adventure of pottery... it may take awhile... but then again, I have plenty of time
